And unfortunately, despite knowing this, we all indulge in it. For our own mental wellbeing, we all must engage in other form of entertainment like waking up early to take a stroll in the park or playing outdoor games or having a relaxing evening ritual to combat boredom and refresh after a hectic day. We must not use our phone while we are eating, traveling and especially before going to bed.
4) Limit your expectations
We all have lots of expectations from our lives. Expectations that we have from ourselves. And expectations other people such as our family, friends, and colleagues have from us. We all expect to get a good job, a higher salary, a bigger home, lots of friends, a comfortable and luxurious life, But many times the reality differs from expectations. This causes unhappiness, anxiety, stress and sometimes depression which eventually affects our mental health.
So, it’s better to limit expectations and not feel pressurized if expectations are not met. It’s better to have patience and wait for things to turn up for good. Remember that you cannot control your life wholly so expect less and live more.
5) Make new friends
Healthy, positive and close relationships are important for your mental wellbeing. Such relations help you to build a sense of belonging and self-worth. They give you an opportunity to share life experiences and provide emotional support.
6) Upgrade your skills
Research shows that learning new skills can also improve your mental wellbeing. It boosts self-confidence and raises self-esteem, help you to build a sense of purpose and connect with others.
Even if you feel you do not need new qualifications, you can just find activities you enjoy and make them a part of your everyday life.
7) Practice mindfulness
Paying more attention to the present moment can improve your mental wellbeing. This includes your thoughts and feelings, your body and the world around you. Mindfulness can help you enjoy life more and understand yourself better.

Screen time severely impact our mental health, our generation is just addicted to screens and this is not good. We must spend some time in open air with nature.
